Cookie policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, fall under the same rules. On this page you can read which ones I use and why.
Functional: your cookie choice
I store your choice in the cookie banner in your browser's local storage, under the name jvg_consent. That way you don't have to choose again on every page. This is necessary for the banner to work and contains no personal data.
Ad measurement: Google Ads
Only if you click Accept do I load the Google tag (Google Ads, conversion ID AW-18374716384). With it, I measure how many visitors arrive through my ads and how many of them send an enquiry. Google may set cookies for this, such as _gcl_au. If you click Decline, the Google tag isn't loaded and no advertising cookies are set.
I use Google Consent Mode. As long as you haven't given consent, all storage and advertising settings are denied by default.
Other scripts
This website also runs a script from SEO Autopilot (seo-autopilot-jade.vercel.app) that I use for technical SEO optimisation of the pages. This script doesn't set any cookies.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via , also at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings.
